If you plan to visit Georgia,
please read this importan information
about visas and requarements for visitors.

Entry requirements:

A foreign citizen must present a travel document
with the Georgian visa to a
Border Policeman while crossing the state border.

If you hold passport of listed countries,
you do not need a visa to enter
and stay on the territory of Georgia for 360 days:

European Union Member States

If you hold passport of country not listed above
regardless country of your residence,
you have to obtain visa.

In most cases visa can be obtained uppon arrival at

-Tbilisi International Airport
-Batumi International Airport
-Kutaisi International Airport
-Bording cross points between Georgia and Azerbaijan
-Bording cross points between Georgia and Armenia
-Bording cross points between Georgia and Turkey

Stateless persons traveling by
Stateless Person's Temporary Travel Document
should contact nearest
Embassy of Georgia
for visa information,
prior arriving to Georgia.

Holders of
Alien's Passport of Latvia and Estonia
are enjoying the same privileges for
visa-free travel to Georgia
as EU passport holders.

Visa fees:

-standard 3 month-visas - 60 GEL
-ordinary single entry transit visas (72 hours) - 10 GEL
-ordinary double entry transit visas (72+72 hours) - 20 GEL
-diplomatic and service visas – are issued free
on the ground of the letter
from the Ministry of
Foreign Affairs of Georgia.

ATTENTION!

If your passport contains

-Visas of "Republic of Abkhazia"
-Visas of "Republic of Southern Ossetia"
-Bording cross stamps of Russian Federation made
at "Psou" and "Nizhny Zaramag" check points,

you might be considered as person,
who illegaly crossed Georgian Border,
including from the territories
temporarily not under the control of
Georgian Official Authority.
The trespasser will be fined,
or imprisoned from 3 to 5 years period.

Also we not recommend to use passport,
stamped in "Tukish Republic of Northen Cyprus"
